Роатта, Марио: биография

При этом Роатта сознательно саботировал приказ о выдаче еврейских беженцев немцам в 1942 году. 17 ноября 1942 года после встречи с Роаттой Муссолини отменил решение о выдаче. Все еврейские беженцы были интернированы в общий лагерь и оставались под охраной итальянской армии и были спасены от уничтожения.
