Висконти, вошедший в историю как один из самых влиятельных (согласно Allmusic) продюсеров эпохи глэм-рока, записывал, в числе прочих, The Moody Blues, T.Rex, Мэри Хопкин , Thin Lizzy, Ральфа Мактелла, Sparks, Gentle Giant, The Boomtown Rats, Хэйзел О’Коннор, Адама Анта, The Stranglers, Manic Street Preachers, Кристин Янг, Хью Корнуэлла, Моррисси и Дэвида Боуи — с последним он постоянно сотрудничал с 1969 по 2016 годы.
